Case notes

Work that shaped the judgement.

Work delivered inside operating businesses and brands. Counterparties are not named publicly. We are happy to discuss specifics directly.

BRAND LOCALISATION · GCC · GLOBAL CONTEMPORARY LUXURY BRAND

Localisation that became product, not decoration.

Situation
The brand's global creative system carried no authentic Arabic expression. Regional work risked becoming translation applied on top of a European brand.
Action
Handwritten Arabic calligraphy developed from the brand's own written language, taken from handwriting through to applied product and a regional capsule.
Outcome
The approach moved from regional expression into wider product use — demonstrating that localisation could earn cultural and commercial relevance without diluting the global brand.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE · CHINA · THAILAND · SOUTH KOREA · GLOBAL CONTEMPORARY LUXURY BRAND

Hospitality built as commercial infrastructure.

Situation
Luxury traffic across several Asian markets was softening and customer acquisition was becoming more expensive.
Action
A café concept developed from scratch — coffee, menu, service model and operating standard — designed as a lower-friction entry to the brand rather than an amenity.
Outcome
The concept was subsequently rolled out across China, Thailand and South Korea, giving stores a lower-friction reason to be visited before anything was bought.

SEASONAL RETAIL · BODRUM, TURKEY · GLOBAL CONTEMPORARY LUXURY BRAND

A seasonal market read correctly.

Situation
Turkey is usually treated as one retail market, and usually that means Istanbul.
Action
Seasonal retail opened in Bodrum, in a prime position held for three seasons.
Outcome
Evidence that Istanbul, Nişantaşı, the malls and the coast each perform a different job, and that a seasonal site can be a strategic one.

MARKET ENTRY · INDIA · GLOBAL CONTEMPORARY LUXURY BRAND

A market built from zero.

Situation
No entity, no infrastructure, significant import and compliance complexity — and a customer already buying the brand abroad.
Action
Entry built from the ground up: entity, banking, imports, hiring, operations and store.
Outcome
A live business in the market, and a customer relationship held at home rather than only in London, Paris and Milan.

FOUNDER-OPERATOR · UNITED KINGDOM · RETAIL AND HOSPITALITY

Judgement stays current when it still meets rent, labour and construction.

Situation
Advisory judgement decays the moment it stops meeting rent, labour and construction.
Action
A retail and hospitality brand founded and run first-hand — leasing, landlord negotiation, fit-out, hiring, product and daily trading.
Outcome
Live exposure to store-level economics, which is where the house keeps its judgement current.
